The nights here look like they have come out of a child's coloring chart. Black canvas, bright white spots for stars and a bold white stroke for a waxing moon. Somewhere among these countless stars is Betelgeuse, nearly 550 times the size of the sun, but content enough to portray itself as a small shining dot.
Such vastness the cosmic space holds, that in terms of creation, we are smaller than specks that can be discarded. In terms of the uncreated, all creation put together might be a speck that can be discarded - and that is some statement to make and that is some grandeur to grasp and behold!
But such is the magnanimity of the design that the human experience can marvel at all this and become one with it.

Have some perspective! Two things we can remember on a daily basis to maintain perspective:
1) This body shall one day fall to the earth and become one with it - what a privilege!
2) In the cosmic space, how much weight does self-importance hold? The only extra-ordinariness is ordinariness!
