Trust obviates doubt.
Doubt obviates trust.

Conditionally trusting someone doesn't work.
But if you cannot be naturally trusting, it is (perfectly) ok to be doubtful.

In the current realm of things, it is an extraordinary achievement to have absolute trust from someone.
